After spending the last 20 years in the adoption field, ADORED’s founders decided to launch a non-profit adoption agency that combines the very best adoption support and highest ethics, with present-day technology and creative design.

Adoption should not be cold and commercial. It is life changing and life giving. We’re creating a soft, safe place to make lasting connections.

Rebekah mcgee, LMSW

Rebekah is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has years of experience supporting both birth parents and adoptive families on their adoption journey. She lives in Alabama with her husband and three children where they serve in ministry. Their oldest child was adopted through international adoption in 2012; they are parenting a child with multiple special-needs, including Cerebral Palsy and Autism.

Rebekah is passionate about praying for and supporting families throughout their adoption journey so they are equipped to understand adoption identity, transracial adoption, or the years ahead.

Leah Outten

Leah is a birth mother of 19+ years in a fully open adoption and a mother of 5 that she parents with her husband. She has been writing, speaking, and serving the adoption community since 2004.  Sharing vulnerably about the beauty and aches as a birth mother, she aims to inspire hope and show how open adoption can be done well.

Leah’s writing and story have been featured on national platforms including Focus On The Family, Epoch Times, and HuffPost. Her memoir, The Sixteenth Year, will be available soon.

Scott murphy

Scott serves as Adored’s Caseworker, providing services and supporting families during their adoption. Scott holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has over 15 years experience serving in the Child Welfare field. In addition, he’s spent years serving as the Founder and Director of a non-profit and as a pastor and missionary. He lives with his wife and 2 children in the Atlanta metro area. 

He is passionate about helping families and equipping them on their path to grow their family through adoption!

malcolm Young

Malcolm is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Adored. He has over 20 years of leadership experience in the field of adoption. He’s founded and served as Executive Director at four licensed adoption agencies over the years. In addition to his adoption experience, he’s also served as pastor and church planter. He’s also an adoptive father who’s adopted domestically and internationally. He combines his professional and personal adoption experience to lead the Adored team. 

amy Young

Amy is the Co-Founder and Administrative Director of Adored. She has over 20 years of professional and personal adoption experience including serving in leadership roles at four licensed adoption agencies. She coordinates all of Adored’s administrative services. She oversees licensing compliance and assists families through the adoption process and paperwork. She believes families deserve the very best!
